Return Conditions

To be eligible, items must be:

• Unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition
• With all original tags attached and hygienic seals intact
• In their original packaging

Items returned damaged, soiled, marked, or missing tags or seals will not be accepted, and may be returned to the customer at the customer's expense.

Final Sale — Non-Returnable

For reasons of hygiene and intimate-wear regulations, the following are final sale:

• Briefs, thongs, and any garment worn directly against the body, once the hygienic seal has been removed
• Stockings, hosiery, and bodysuits, once the packaging is opened
• Pieces from sale, archive, or limited-edition capsules
• Bridal pieces, custom orders, and made-to-order items
• Personalized or monogrammed pieces
• Gift cards

Bra sets, slips, robes, and outerwear remain returnable in resaleable condition.

How to Start a Return

Write to concierge@desirsombre.com with your order number (beginning with DS) and the piece or pieces you wish to return.

Once your return is approved, we will send return instructions and the return address by email. Please do not send any item back without prior authorization — unannounced returns cannot be accepted.

Return Shipping

• Canada: Returns are complimentary. A prepaid return label is sent by email once your return is approved.
• United States: Returns are complimentary. A prepaid return label is sent by email once your return is approved.

In the case of a defective or incorrect item, return shipping is covered by Désir Sombre regardless of destination.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If you receive a piece that is defective, damaged in transit, or incorrect, please contact concierge@desirsombre.com within 14 days of delivery, including your order number and clear photographs. We will arrange a replacement or full refund and cover return shipping.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. To receive a different size, colour, or piece, please return your original order and place a new one once the return is approved.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, you will be notified within 5 business days whether the refund is approved. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 business days.

Please allow additional time for your bank or card provider to post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since approval and the refund has not appeared, please contact concierge@desirsombre.com.

European Union — 14-Day Right of Withdrawal

For orders shipped to the European Union, the statutory 14-day withdrawal period applies under EU Directive 2011/83/EU. Hygienic restrictions on intimate apparel remain in effect: sealed items returned with the seal broken cannot be refunded, in accordance with Article 16(e) of the Directive.

Shipping Destinations

Désir Sombre currently ships to and accepts returns from Canada and the United States. Customers are responsible for any duties, taxes, or customs fees on returned items.
